Dr. J. "Reece" Blincoe has been named as one of three finalists for the Aguilar School District Superintendency.Dr. Blincoe has served over 3 decades in public education, with 15 years’ experience as a superintendent of schools, over ten years as an agriculture science instructor, many years as a campus administrator, and four years as an associate professor in educational leadership. Some of Dr. Blincoe’s notable accomplishments include substantial financial leadership in previous school districts, extensive experiences in building school facilities and BEST grant application and implementation, active legislative experience in lobbying for small rural school funding, and a strong and focused leadership skillset. Dr. Blincoe currently serves as the Director of Data Analysis, Instructional Coaching, and CTE for the Aguilar School District. He also serves on the District Advisory Group (DAG) for the new facilities to be constructed and is actively working with the architects, owner’s representative, and soon-to-be general contractors.
